I set up Charmocort by Antonin Cosnier in 2018. Initially a micro-trading company, I then adopted the status of négociant vinificateur, then operator, as I gradually took over the family plots from the estate created by my grandfather, Marius Delarche, from the vines of his wife Jeanne. Antonin Cosnier A ‘Winemaker Bourguignon’ trained in oenology at the Catholic University of Porto, I merge my expertise in the food industry, acquired during my international career, with my love for the family vineyards. The result is quality wines. I seek harmony between tradition and innovation, with a deep respect for the Burgundy terroir. Viticulture and winemaking With a surface area of just over one hectare, the estate cultivates five parcels in four different appellations. The small size of the plots means that I prefer meticulous manual work to mechanical intervention. Surrounded by winegrower friends, my cooper and my customers, the winery is a place for experimentation. Inspired by the garage wines of Bordeaux, I make confidential cuvées to bring out the best in each parcel. I experiment with different barrels, sizes, toast and grain, and other containers for ageing. I meticulously adjust the length of maturation and filtration, embracing the complexity of the winemaker's craft. This approach, combined with my industrial experience, allows me to care for each cuvée in a unique and optimal way. We'll start with the Bourgogne Aligoté, before moving on to taste my Pernand-Vergelesses, both red and white.
