The DOMAINE DU CLOS MOREAU, 100% family-owned, is now under the stewardship of two brothers, Francis and Etienne, following the retirement of their father Pascal, their grandfather Paul, their great-grandfather Paul (who was also named Paul), and their great-great-grandfather Jean-Baptiste. This family saga dates back to 1610 in Mercurey, a land of preference and investment. Production is managed across the 15 hectares of our estate. Vineyard work, manual harvesting, vinification, aging, bottling, and marketing are all carried out by ourselves and our team, allowing us total freedom, a rarity these days. The estate is managed using sustainable agriculture practices with frequent use of organic products.
