Our history
The history of Jaffelin is intertwined with that of the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame de Beaune. Century after century, our cellars have housed the wines of the Collegiate Church and the princes of the Church. The Chapter's cellars, established in the 12th century, changed owners in 1816 when the Jaffelin brothers founded their own house. Today, the tradition continues: our wines rest in the monastic tranquility of the Chapter's cellars in the same manner as they did 8 centuries ago.
